I just released the second teaser to a film I'm working on titled "Bumps: A Mogul Skiing Documentary" and I thought NS might like to have a look, especially after seeing all the talk the Olympic mogul event sparked in the forums here.

Been working super hard on this one for about two years and would love to hear what you guys think! Really excited to have many of the best mogul skiers on the planet involved in the project.

sick man, looks like a good watch for sure. makes me miss competing in moguls back in the day ha, amazing how far mogul comps have come in the past decade. i remember when i was competing you still were not allowed to go fully inverted, now theres back fulls, d spins , cork 7s and even some dubs, wild shit. good work man.

Yes.. there is a little bit of footage in my colab entry of it... but surely there's nothing wrong with asking..

also, there's some additional POV footage of me moguling at 30 sec, including with the polecam.

[I did not intend to post this video or even had it mind when I asked original question.. but two people brought it up]

I did not design these skis for moguls, so it was really only filmed for curiosity and r&d.

I'm interested to see a revolution of style, not only in the air, but also in terms of making turns on snow, and I don't think that this is happening as quickly as it is in terms of innovation in the air.

Fully rockered skis work in the moguls, but next time I'd likely make them thinner (for legs closer together,) longer, with a lot more tail sidecut to give them more swing agility in order to make up for the counterweight that poles would otherwise provide. Maybe a flat middle for easier landings.

You'll sometimes see people do this as a training technique to work on balance and stability, but you'll never see anyone compete without them. Having clean pole-planting is actually factored into your score.

Glad you guys like the project!

Fistful of Moguls is one of my all time favorites... it segwayed very nicely into the freeskiing movement. It will be interesting to see the story you tell.
