My little antenna got broken off my cell phone

it's an old phone i got from a friends mom....no warranty.

any ideas on tricks to get service....ive tried sticking a fork in the hole where the antenna was.

get a sony eriksson the antenna is internal sucker.

wow man that sucks. really all you can do is get a new phone or if it was a screw out antenna you can pull out what was left in the screw in part then see if you can get a new antenna, if not, you're kind of boned.

Just trash it and get a new phone.

If you start a new contract with Verizon or any other company, you can get some pretty decent phones for relatively cheap.

put a nail in where the antenna used to be. my cousin did it for a couple months

yeah i don't think fork in the hole is gonna cut it, maybe get the entenna from some other electrical device but i doubt it will work
