since my sister has leukemia the dock said i have a bigger chance of getting it and smokeing and drinking make it even higher so.....................

Not to be blunt or anything, but you're doc is an idiot (unless by smoking, he means cigarettes). I had leukemia too and I still smoke weed (actually helps) and drink (occasionally) and I never heard anything about an increased chance of my family members getting it because nobody fucking knows how you get it.

oh, and best of luck to your sister. tell her to stay positive and always just believe she'll get through it. that's how i made it through.

how do you cure leukemia? i dont wanna be a dick if you really did have it but how did you overcome it?

yes i realize that, but there has to be a bit more to it otherwise everyone would survive

naw, it's all good man. I dont' care. Personally, I think a HUGE part of it is just staying positive and always believing that you'll make it through. The other part that cures you is the shitload of chemotherapy that kills basically everything in your body, good or bad until the cancer is undetectable, then they give you a small break and do it again for three years.

my cousin got leukemia back in may. hes on his last round of chemo and hes doing a lot better. it came was a complete shock to me. me and my cousin are close. but i cannot imagine what it feels like to have that happen to a brother or sister.

keep positive. constantly let her know your thinking about her and just do all you can to support her through it.

as for PhiNova, i'm really sorry to hear that man, i have a few family members going through cancer right now, it sucks... but all we can do is hope, yanno ? and for you, i'd suggest being somewhat cautious and watch out for warning signs, just to be safe. my father has multiple sclerosis, and as long as i can remember ive known the early symptoms, just in case i begin to get it, because there is a possibility that i am at a higher risk cause of genetics. but either way, keep your head up bro.

Well i can answer that. Weed can help cancer patients immensly for many different reasons/ailments, alcohol isn't exactly good for a patient because it fucks with the chemo drugs and thins your blood (i think) but if your a sibling of a patient it won't do shit because alcohol doesn't cause cancer. and yes, most cancers are hereditary, but not leukemia. so to answer your last question. I know.
