AHHH im so mad, alright so this weekend i was up at mount snow as usual and skiing around park and shit, i never fell on saturday or do anything bad, just normal riding, so sunday comes along and i take a look at my skis before i go out in the morning and sure enough theres a huge crack in the topsheet on the left back tip of my ski, i was like fuck how did this happen, so i asked some people and they thought it was pretty rediculous for a ski to break at that point on the ski, im really mad because i have no skis now and i dont know how the warranty will work out, theres supposedly a shop near me which carrys liberty so im gonna go there and see if i can exhange them, and one other question, can i bring my skis to that shop and say they broke and it looks more of a defect of the manufacturer and that i dont trust that company anymore and ask if i can put my new skis i would get to another brand of skis? PLEASE HELPPP

if they are last years u should beable to get them warrantyed, i havent heard of any of this years skis breaking

Just email them, they'll tell you if you have to go exchange them at the shop or just send your skis to Liberty.

shut up dude, liberty skis are sick, and they are fun, i loved skiing on them last year, and liberty hooks it up as far as warranty's go, 3 years...no one does that

yea but really, how can my brand new 05/06 stealths break after 2 weekends and only after mild use, this sucks balls

it's still fucking ridiculous, it must be such a pain in the ass to have your new 06 skis and have the season start up then to have them break and have to wait for a month to get them back

i dont know why everyone says that liberties are so weak because they arent. I used to ride on fujatives and i delamned those in 3 different places. then i rode on a pair of t halls and there was at least ten cracks in the edge within a weak. Now i am on liberties and they are holding up just as good or better then anything else ive had and ive beat the shit out of them more than i ever have to a pair of skis.

No.... that is a big fucking surprise. I skied on my choppers for like 15 days so far. hit jumps and rails every one of those days, and they are still solid. no damage. E-mail them.

I'm sure you're right, but I would rather just by skis from a company who makes them to last. Then, even if they are impersonal and ineffective, you won't have to call.

^ Well, if you intend to hit rails, your Dynastars are gonna blow up on you. I'm actually amazed by the fact that his stealths "snapped". These skis are so solid. And the point of supporting an independent company, is to help the sport out. You know where your money is going, and they give back to the sport.

why independent?...well they atleast have better edges that dynastar...and for several other obvious reasons

yeah just get another pair of liberty's, im sure it was a defect, and ive heard they are really cool with their warrenty. every ski has problems, my stl's topsheet is getting fucked, my ar5;'s are delaming, my, gottamas topsheet is like gone, my 1080's just turned to complete shit, my buddys tm's edges are fucked and torn out, his pistols delamed, and his new fuji's have like 3 huge chunks out of the topsheet, and his edge was messed up.

no ski you get will ever last very long they all get screwed eventually.

i know there are groups of people who are all hard up about startup companies they have decided to bend over to but companies like liberty are questionable in many aspects. I hate libertys graphic team, or lack of one...

i love liberty skis as well, no one should talk shit on them unless u have skied on them, i skied them last year, and even tho they broke they were my favorite ski to date..they are super fun skis, and liberty really helps you out...the customer service that liberty provides is yet to be found in another ski company...the chances they take at offering you cats a 3 year warranty...you should all be grateful

Oh no, a ski broke. Let me tell you, my boy D Bird has broken a pair of skis from every brand out there just because he rides so hard. He has yet to break the new Liberty skis, but like it has been said, skis break! They are made of wood!

Also, when making a butload of skis you are sure to have some that are defect that slip through quality control. Liberty knows this and thus provides and qouted from this site "The best customer service in the industry."

Liberty hooks up their customers, trust me.

If it is a defect then they will surely give you another pair but if this happens to a lot of their skis then it probably isn't a defect and they probably won't give you new ones unless of course you have a warrenty.
