183 line blends or 188 moment tahoe

6'2 160# aggresive skier

on the east coast now,

moving to west next summer

figure ill get a good allmtn then add a powder in there next year

(like the comi or donner party)

btw i love woods, bumps, and bc, and not into park as much

oh and btw, i know the blends are on sale now, big selling point, but ignore the prices and let me know which one really sounds better for me.

Hmmm, those both sound like a good choice. You made this one hard, usually kids say "161 Anthems or 185 JJ's?" and make it easy.

It depends on what you want to do... Pure all-mtn skiing (charging, bigger lines, crud, etc...), I'd go with the Tahoe.. If you want a little bit more flexy ski to jib with all over the mtn, I'd go with the Blends... You can't really go wrong with either. I haven't been on the Tahoe, but I ski the Prophet 100 and have enjoyed Line's product, fwiw.

on open trails i tend to charge full speed, and then in woods and bumps i slow it down a little, but am always pushing myself to go faster but still be smooth. on natural hits, ill normally throw grabs or strght airs, i dont spin but like to throw a 180 in everynow and then on smaller stuff and just started trying 3's.

basically its get down the mtn as quickly and smoothly as i can with some some decent airs on the way, with minimal groomer use.

i have the 183 blends and i'm about your size, just a couple of inches shorter. i couldn't ask for a better all mountain ski. they are fun to ski in the park and they hold up really well at the highest speeds i could attain (probably about 50+ mph). since i can't really tell you anything about the moments, i can tell you that you would have absolutely no problems with the blends. if there were ever a perfect ski for the description, the blend would be it.

might be good to add in too that im currently on a 178 anthem and before that a 169 fujative and i was comfortable on both, the decidion i think would obviously be the tahoe but i havnt really been on a stiffer ski before so im a little hesitant to go for it

thank you for the help, how are they on steep fast runouts, stable? thats my problem right now with anthems is stability, i can haul on groomers perfectly fine (about the same speed range) but fast runouts in bc or even inbounds and they get horribly sketchy

so far i think the opinion overall is theyre both simular so go get the blends before they sell out. that sounds pretty good to me, more suggestions will be nice, ill be making my final decision tonight. leaning towards blends atm.

Hey, 215 for Blends is kinda hard to ignore, Although I love Moment skis, I borrowed my friends 178 Blends in March, and skied them on the Headwaters at Moonlight Basin. You were asking about runout. The last thing that came to mind was sketchy, they stuck solid like a ski should. I would say go with the Blends, I think when my stimulus check gets here I am going to buy a pair of them myself. Hope that helps.
