MY LAST HELP THREAD

Wuddup, I am sick of changing my mind because I keep hearing

different words of advice from different people. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put in

your 2 cents in this thread, for whatever its worth.

I am 6’2, 210. I like: big air, but really want flexibility

and lightness this time around, however, one that will not wash out too much. I

don’t care about powder, I live in Onterrible.

I know which skis are center mounted, and that would be preferred... I

want a better jib/butter ski, but one that will not wash out as I already said.

Please look at the following deals I have found, (all from 171-185cm), and tell

me what you think is the best for what I want.

Here are all the deals I am considering right now

All 2008 Skis

Volkl Walls – $298.90

Dynastar Trouble Maker Ltd. – $199.90

Dynastar Big Trouble Maker Ltd. – $259.90

Line Anthem -$ 285

Line Chronic - $249.99

Rossignol Scratch Brigade BC - $299.90

Armada Pipe Cleaners - $299.90

K2 Public Enemy - $273.90

Rossi Stretch Ghetto FS - $199.90

Line Anthem Octoland - $325

Salomon 1080 foil – $229.90

Please tell me what you personally think is best for me.

Of Course, if you know a better ski at the same prices, I

really really want to know what it is.

Peace out everyone, thanks to all who put in any effort

I am Pretty much going to add up your thoughts like votes, and buy them.

Eric.

Dude, do not buy a soft ski! You are a big boy, you need a big boy's ski. Someone your size will have no trouble making a relatively stiff ski buttery and smooth.

I suggest either the Wall or the Pipe cleaner.

I ride pipe cleaners in the park and i have no problems with butters and I'm 5'9" 170.

Get a stiffer ski you will be way happier.

There you have it, my 2 cents.

thanks man thats the stuff i need to hear lol, im on my 3rd season with PE's right now... dont like them anymore, i know i shouldnt get a soft ski, but the butter zones sound like so much fun lol. however, the walls and pip cleaners i have heard great things about. chalk one up for those 2

you should definitely buy last years TNKs. what do you know? i happen to have a brand new pair for sale...size 180. PM me if you're interested.

I love my walls if that helps, i found them pretty smooth and buttery .. i am 6'2" 165lbs.
I snapped them though, but it was a fall that i think would snap most skis.
^Volkl is sending me a new pair too :D

Wow that was a shit reply with no explanation whatsoever. Im super tired, sorry. PM me if you want to hear more.

definately not. most noodly skis ive ever owned.

im your size man and i also ski in ontario. i have scratches and brigades and theyre both great skis. i would recomend the ghettos. they are medium stiff, pretty light, and really fun. one of the best skis ive ever owned. brigades fall into the same category. they are a little heavier but also a little fatter for those rare days when we actually have some pow. pm me if you have any other questions.

Dirty

Thanks for the help everyone, Im gunna PM some of you and ask more specifics.. and sorry to the guy selling the TNKs haha, I would trust your opinion more if you weren't trying to get rid of them lol of offense though.

Alright so now my list is probably narrowed to

Walls

Pipe Cleaners

Chronics

Ghetto

and still... Anthem, even though noone says its right for me. (some one tell me butter zones suck and i would have no fun with them, please,.. i just think with a 93' base they would be firm and fun as hell)

thanks for the help so far

you could man up and get lizzies ..

.. nah for real through depending on where you live the lizzies would be a fun ski. I still stand by my walls though, super sick poppy ski.

im 6' 200 and like to do butters and big airs, i liked the wall's they seem stiff to the lighter folks but i was buttering em like toast.

and pretty much either of the dynastar's are gonna be sick, keep in mind the phatter you are underfoot, the more kooshy your landings will be if there is any loose snow, my pocket rockets stomp better then my 1080s

I would man up and get the Lizzies if they weren't so fuckin expensive.. cheapest i can find is 319 pounds, or 450 usd.

The Lizzies would be out of this world, a juiced up anthem imo. which is why the Anthem is prolly fine for me. Im going to try and find some cheaper lizzies, but i doubt ill be able to
