My ipod just broke...again

yea so i have an ipod mini, which i really like, because i would probaly lose the nano because it is so small, and the videos are too expensive. but the first time i broke my ipod it was still under warranty so they sent me a new one. but the i just broke the new one and it has no warranty. and i am flat broke, and i dont have a job, and cant get one because im way to busy with school and a serious cross country carrer. wow im really pissed right now. thanks for reading
 
does anyone know if the ipod videos are anymore durable? because i wanna get one, but i just dropped my mini like a foot off the ground and it doesnt work anymore, and if this is gonna be the same i dont wanna get it.
 
i love my mini. they are really durbale mine went through hell and back and still works fine. but now since it almost like 2 years old the battery doesnt hold a charge and im kind of pissed.
 
ive dropped my video solidly a couple of times and im doin alright. But i dont suspect my results are typical
 
i like my ipod but i hate have to worry about it so much. oncew mine breaks for the 4th time (if its after my warrenty ends) i think im just gunna get something like this

they should make ipods that are as durable as cell phones. my cell phone has been dropped onto concrete tons of times and it's still fine :D.
 
My video is almost a yr old and its still working fine. Its had a hard life and is full of scratches but it still works fine. Much more durable than friends older 20gs.
 
you gotta invest in a case for your ipod. wellll worth it you can get them for like 30 bucks or less and they work very well. one of the only times i didnt use mine, the screen broke (probably from when i did a combat roll with said ipod in pocket)
 
oh yeah, that happened to me too. i have bad luck with small lcd screens on electronic devices.
 
my cell that I have right now is a tank. So far I have

droped it off a second, third and fourth story building

dropped it into a bicket of water/vinigar

steped on it

hit it with a golf club

hit it with a hockey stick

threw it across the room where it then bounced off 3 walls

smashed it into several walls, floors, furnature (not on purpose)

ran it over with a weed trimmer

had full 4 liter cans of paint dropped on it

generally dropped it inot concrete more time then i can count

hit it with a angle grinder

and it still works
 
actually this would make more sense.

i use to have a zen micro and this shit is bomb proof. i landed on my side on a rail skiing and it held togeather.

to bad it got stolen.
