My iPod Crashed

my original ipod nano from a million years ago just crashed. i had 1500 songs on it, and none of my music was organized on my computer, so it looks like that's gonna take a LONG time. this sucks
 
what do you mean by crashed? Have you tried resetting it by turning the hold button on then off and holding in the select and menu button for 5-8 seconds?
 
yeah i did all that but i think the touch wheel or w/e is just fucked, and i tried to update it and instead it deleted all my songs so i guess new ipod
 
you're battery died. you can either send it back to apple for a refurbished one or buy a new one on ebay for a cheaper price. you're music is definitely gone.
 
This gets my vote, if you do end up buying a new one dont get a new nano, they just dont compare to the awesome that is the first gen nano. I still have my first gen nano while my brother has gone thru 3 second-fourth gen ones and mine takes waaay more shit than him.
 
agreed. my first gen nano took so much shit.. it eventually died though (last year around this time actually). either way, its way better than any other nanos that have come out so far
