My hardcore band turned emo

first of all, armor for sleep is fuckin ill. If u have ever seen them live, you know what i mean. Their songs have so much feeling behind them. The mars volta is sick too. Time spent driving and park are sweet. Emo music is like, The getup kids and spitalfield. ITs wicked light but some of it is ok. If u r accusing emo of having too much feeling in it, then u r basically calling every singer/band emo. If u want good hardcore/emo, listen to As Cities Burn, shai hulud, settlefish,hopesfall, and as i lay dying. dont diss ppl cuz of what they wear too. Its the same for kids who wear huge jerseys and big jean shorts with flat brimmed hats. And dude, ur band looks pretty sick. U guys have good taste if u like Armor.

im on the back left and our singer took off his hat and he had a big bald spot so we were laughing mad hard the whole time..so in the picture we are laughing in the back

i think it was her first big article and i mean it had a huge picture and throughout the day family friends and my friends were calling to say they saw me.. i was like uh sweet. now we are gonna have old people trying to be hip and turn emo

 
here's what you need to do dude, write into the paper and explain to them in very technical and informational terms what the difference is between "emo" and "hardcore" because chances are some douche from your local times has no idea what a "breakdown" is or what "scene" even means.

i used to be in a screamo band; i was the screamer for a while, but i quite because i didn't like the fact that i wasn't actually singing. now i'm switching over to a ska band; but i'm still a huge supporter of the emo scene

on the armor topic......ive seen them live and i was horribly disappointed in them. i love their music ( well not the lastest cd) and i expected much better. they sounded like crap, and had no energy, and acted like cocky assholes.

how can you say that emo bands "suck" im betting more than half of you people cant even play an instrument..personally im not a fan of whiney emo..im more into the hardcore/political punk, but theyre talented artists who've (mostly) made it big. sooo....yeah go fuck yourselves.
