I know that most of NS is lame and doesnt view gear talk all that much. Anyway we could get something into general ski gabber for this? Legit thread and I donated 10 dorra :)

yeah spread the word. i checked back in on this thread expecting like $400 so you need some more exposure. this can and will be done
 
oh and what's the price tag? retail, youre just buying them off the site or whatever?

but yeah gotta get more exposure. i can understand if you (trip strum) dont want to be the one to do it, who's taking the reins on this? id be happy to make a thread about it or whatever but im a little late to the game here so maybe someone else wants to do that
 
yes, there are definitely a couple of hurdles to clear. The largest, is buying them retail. Of course if anyone had a way to get them on some type of Proform, or if Line wanted to be super generous and give me some type of deal (which at this point doesn't seem like it), then that is a lot of money to come up with. $400 might be a more reasonable amount, which I am guessing is the proform on a pair of sticks in this price range.

And yes, the second problem is that Gear Talk is the least frequented forum. I just looked at it and it has like 1/5 the threads of NSG :P Oh well. But yes, it would look terrible if I promoted my own fund-raising like some goon, when in reality the idea came about by some awesomely generous members of NS.
 
First off, congrats on the upcoming baby boy. Is there any way to donate a couple of bucks without using PP. As a fellow father, I would love to try to help out.
