Hey my full tilts smell terrible. I was wondering if anyone had tips about washing the liner from their own past experiences. Regular wash? Tumble dry? or just scrub? I really don't wanna mess them up tho. If anyone has anytips about washing them, wat to do or wat not to do, I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks

(+karma if that motivates you haha)

im not sure about washing but it will help if you take the liners out once ur done skiing, lets them air out better and reduces bacteria build, up good luck bro

i heard that if you put those laundry sheets in your boots, you know the ones that smell all good it will absorb odors. never tried it though. for future reference take your liners out of your boots when you are done skiing and put them in a ventilated area to dry. also one thing i found that cuts down on the stench factor is WASHING YOUR SKI SOCKS. i know they are lucky and all but after three days in a row they just make your boots worse.

this is more preventative efforts but i hope it helps

holy shit! ski boots that smell bad? that is preposterous.

the way i see it you have two options:

not care (after all they are ski boots)

stuff them full of dryer sheets

intuition liners say they come with anti smell stuff but i think it just makes them worse. accept the fact that if you ski more then ten days a year your boots will stink. its just the way the world works.

What I do: Moth Balls. You know the lavender-smelling ones, with an odor-absorbing substance inside, that can be twisted to open or close little vents. Put those in your boots after skiing.

Remove your liners each night (and buckle the boots afterwards. Not sure about FT's, but regular shells deform).

And the end-all cure-all: Febreze Anti-Microbial. The stuff works, man. Spend whatever $10 it costs to buy it, and whenever something smells, spray it. Don't get the regular kind, they just smell pretty. But the Anti-Microbial on actually kills all the shit making your boots smell.

take the liners out and throw both the shell and the liners in the freezer for a few days. The sub zero temp will kill all of the bacteria
