Fuck everyone with their bullshit selfish causes. I hiked Kilimanjaro a few years ago because I was bored and already going to be passing through Tanzania after the season ended. I just paid for it and did it because I wanted to.
I remember running into a few people there or in other countries heading there that were hiking it for missions trips etc.
Idk i get that it's easier to raise money if you're doing something but it seemed like most of those people just wanted to hike the damn mtn, do something cool, not pay for it, and lastly something about causes and caring and helping people or whatever to get some $$$ and notoriety.
Same with all the go fund me people looking for loot to travel the world. It's cool to travel, but don't act like you're doing it to save humanity. And sure as fuck don't ask other people to foot the bill.
Im going to travel to 20+ countries over 2 years drinking amd doing drugs with strangers and it's going to change the world. Please give me 50k because I dont actually havr any money saved. If you dont you're a dick because you're notletting me save the planet with my heady insta tourism posts.
The worst thing is that these people and their friends can't even see that they're being complete douchers, and think everyone who calls them out is just a dick.
The one dude a few years bsck posted his gaper friends gofundme for 10k yo build a shitty tiny hiuse with a rail in top that hed prolly never hit. I called him out somewhat gently and him and his friend messaged me for weeks about being an asshole(highlight of that year)
The other nser that posted his friend gofund me for 50k for an italian bass for because "she couldnt get the gigs she wanted playing the bass she had" so obviously go 0 to 60 and buy the most expensive bass in some shop with other peoples money because she deserves it. Fuck, I prolly couldnt win a nascar race in my subaru. Anyone got a few hundred k or so to buy me a racecar?
Buy all means take a vacation, build a tiny house, buy a cool bass, but use your own money you greedy entitled piece of shit. I hate you your friends, your family, and your dog, your dog sucks too.Fuck you sparky!
