MY FRIEND HAS CANCER AT 19??? WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

best wishes. My cousin had ovarian cancer. It took 6 doctors (or so) to diagnose the problem. a hysterectomy was too late.

Just be the best friend that you can be.
 
yo dude, my moms has cancer, you just gotta chill, and tell them how much they mean to you, and stay positive, but most of all, keep them thinking positive, because mental is half the battle against cancer
 
cancer is not as deadly as it used to be. as you said she is 19, so still young and i admagine she is in fairly good health. That is good as it will help her with the treatments, and hopefully they found it early before it spread. For what you should do, i think you should call her now, but dont stop there, here in canada we have a 24 hr relay to raise money for cancer research. If you have something along those lines where abouts you are you should get your friends together and help raise money for cancer. THat will show her you care, and it will help boost her spirit when it is low. i wish your friend the best of luck, and remember there is alot you can do.
 
Cancer sucks, 3 of my grandparents had it and died from it. With cancer, all you can do is keep the moral high.A happy people is a person willing to fight it off.I hope treatment will work and she will fight it off.

man my mum just got over bowel cancer it sucked but shes fine now i hope your friend recovers as well as my mum did , best wishes
 
cancer is just so pointless, illness is pointless. at 19 she shouldn't have to worry about her life, but whether she wants to go skiing today, or what guy she wants to date and that kind of stuff. just be there for her, be her best friend. keep her thinking positive thoughts. best wishes for her, I hope everything turns out well
 
Yeah man that idea to do some sort of fundraiser is the best idea anybody has had so far. At least I would feel like I was doing something meaningful to help. Thanks a bunch.

Shit this is weird. I just found out today that my friend's dad (our indoor soccer coach) was just diagnosed with cancer in his small intestine. It's really fucked up hearing it from him how he was sat down by his mom after work and she just came out and told him and really what can you say to that? Plus his dad won't be able to show up on his senior night of hockey which is just awful. Errr... This is strange because I've known him and his dad for as long as I've been playing soccer in highschool. He (like this girl) is a kind man willing to help out someone who needs it. Pray that it isn't progressive when they do the surgery in the next few days.
 
a kid on my bros soccer team (all really really close) got some kind of cancer and theres not really much you can do i mean he just tried to go visit him whenever he had the chance and stuff that a really good friend would do... talk about what you guys used to do to have fun (how you got busted anything like that) try and do your best to make him/her feel like there are always friends around and just that kind of stuff
 
My website designer is a good friend from high school, and he got testicular cancer at 20. He had to drop out of school for a while so he could get treatment. Definitely be there for them while they're in chemo, that was pretty rough on him. But he got through it, got his degree, and he's doing good.
 
Yeah, when i had leukemia, i felt that the best treatment i could have was staying positive and knowing that I had friends there for me. The happier they are, the easier the prossess will be. Good luck to you and your friend.
 
I knew a girl that had that, really sad at 20 they basically took out her baby making stuff. soo sad. You really can't say anything, just be there. that is most important, people need to know they are bieng thought of it helps. sorry man if there is anyone upstairs hope he/she's looking out for your friend
