This will be my first year freestyle skiing. I have some used twintips, and poles, but a season pass depends on my grades. and advice if 1. I do get a season pass 2. I don't get one.
yah man get a pass, last year was my first year of skiing and the amount i ( my parents ) spent on day tickets could have bought me at least 2 season passes. Just tell them that and they wont even worry about grades..
Just get good grades honestly. If you get good grades, it will help later on and you get a ski pass this year. There are long and short term benefits I dont see why you wouldnt try.
also, as far as grades go... my parents are super crazy about grades. i have gpa that's really good (not trying to sound pretentious/claim) because my parents won't let me ski unless i basically have all A's. They'll buy me a pass, but they can take it away whenever they want if i do poorly on a test, miss an assignment, etc.
so just keep your grades up, get that pass, and go shred!
Get a pass, that way you pay it all right away and don't have to feel like your spending money every time you go. Also you won't have to go into the lodge.
hey if your name is east coast 207 you probly ski at sunday river, loon, or sugarloaf. And if that is true you should DEFINITALY get a pass. its just the better deal
Plus like most people I go after school and a lot of kids go after school and buy day passes, thus you wait in line for a day pass most days and waste time shredding.
In past years skiing for me I've been paying full prices for season passes. I don't know what other mountains are like but I know that if you join just a random group at the mountain I go to you can get a lot of cash off a season pass. If your grades are good enough and your parents decide to get you a season pass check your mountains group rates and check if there's any spots open in groups that you could join. I was told this talking to someone on a lift last year and hope to try it this year. Good luck
