My first timelapse

ok so this is my first timelapse. any tips like what settings and such? i used a canon hfs200 at 24 fps in the cine mode. this was shot over 30min. btw

it was... alright.

tips:

- better composition - get that railing out of the foreground, it's detracting from the shot and distracting from what you want the focus of the shot to be

- color correction - it looked really bland, get into some CC to give it maybe a little more contrast, and maybe som more saturation, it was a bit dull

- speed - nobody wants to watch a timelapse that goes that slow. take the original and speed it up so it only lasts about 10-20 seconds

 
oooookay. it was my first so i just testing it out! i shall do that next time.... probably tomorow or tonight!
 
Ideally a timelapse should be composed of photos, this will give you better image quality and a smaller overall file size. Nice smooth movement though.
 
it wasnt too big actually, it only took up mabye half of my 8gb memory card. and okay i will try the photos too and such. anyone know if there is an automatic photo taking option on a canon hfs200?
