My first summer setup!

just had my first session on my summer setup! it turned out way better than i expected. i put some old shingles that i had in the basement down underneath some indoor/outdoor so i was really smooth and fast. i cant wait to make more rails.
 
like roof shingles. i found some in the basement and put them under the carpert. it made it so the inrun wasnt bumpy, which made it faster
 
what is the best stuff for a in run?

ive herd these work well but i would like an opinion to see which on works best:

astro turf

tarp

snow fence.

i would like one that i could get the most speed out of.
 
snow fence is fastest without snow but id put some carpet under it so you dont get grass stickin up...but put sontin hard under that like wood or shingles like this guy did makes it much faster then just the ground

i just built a summer set up tonight and its alright.. really hard to get use to....its hard for me to keep going straight..but im sure i just need to get use to it...
 
about the 10ft pvc length. I found that Menards will order you a 20ft piece for no more than two 10ft pieces 8.88 where i live. but its a pain to get home, even with a truck.
 
damn i an idiot. i didnt see jwenz's pic,but the reason it didn't work for you, outcold720, was that you had a space between the website and [/img].
