My first ski edit

i liked the intro, good lifestyle shots. personally i didn't like the song but thats just me. as far as editing goes, i thought some of the transitions were too quick during the crash footy. other than that, really good job for a first edit. way better than one i expected when i read the title. well done
 
aa i think i know what u mean by saying one of the crashes was too short but it's because the guy really bounces strait up back on his feet afterwards. (first crash in the "crash seg")
 
dude good edit. whenever my friend and i have posted stuff on here what has really helped us make it better is the input from people. so im going to give you my personal opinion if that matters to you.

-good song

-make the intro a little more strong.

-more fading into scenes on the intro..the song starts slow so should the skiing.

-the skiing was awesome but the snowboarding ruined it for me. completly take out all the snowboarding.

i really liked it and if you wanna listen to me thats cool, if you dont, no problem, dont.
 
hey no problem...a good idea might be to put a bunch of pictures at the end of you guys just chillin or something?
 
yah well it wa my orginal idea for the end just before the 3skiing. i wanted some lifestyle footy but i had none, we sould be filming this weekend so ill try to get some
 
i jsut watched it again. solid edit for your first time. take away the shot of the guy speaking french though. and i think without all the snowboarding shots..it will be awesome..and yea maybe get a little timelapse in there..like while your driving up just shoot out the window or something...even just stand somewhere where theres lots of people walking by for a while and just film them wlaking, then speed it up really fast.

i especially liked the last 30-45 seconds, good motion, transitions, and a quicker pace to finish her out
 
very solid for first edit. Biggest complaint is the length of the shot where where the skiers hit a jump like 4 in a row, then there's like 5 seconds of nothing, and a boarder hits it. cut after the skiers.

keep working at it.
