Mainly the Wilderness Program here. My old school made it so hard to get out and do anything, even though there was a lot to do in the area. Here there's always some kind of trip every weekend. They have so much funding for outdoors programs. The gear room here has close to 50,000$ worth of equipment, like whitewater boats, ice climbing gear, tele skis, and just basic camping gear. Then there's the sea kayaks, and all of the extended trips where they hire professionals in that field to guide the trips. Over winter break I got to go sea kayaking in South Carolina and got to paddle with one of the better all around paddlers in the country. The ski club and flyfishing club are pretty cool as well.
I really like the campus itself. I really do not like big schools at all. I like the smaller class sizes, and the professors here seem like they care so much more about how you are doing that at my old school. The people here are so much friendlier, students and staff.
I just hate living in Founders Hall. Damn hot water pipes running through my room. Its always about 75-80 degrees in my room...year round.
