yeah great job

the dolly shots were really sick just subtle it was nice

and yeah editing was super crisp it all went well

enjoyed watching sick job.

what cam did you get?

not bad. especially for first edit.

i would seriously try to change up your shots. The one dolly angle at the side of the box got really really repetitive.

Also with your pans, try to get them a lil' smoother.

and try to get the tracks from your dolly outta the shot, it ruins the effect.

what did you use for it anyway? cause it slides on snow. Your smart.

Excessive overuse of that dolly/moving shot...

What did you film it with? Looks like a HV20-esque picture, on a sunny day.

the only thing that really came to my mind was you need more definition between the skier the sky and the snow. just saturating your colors abit should do this.

x2

also too many cross fades. Dont be afraid of hard cuts

Very good job over all though. I find it a little hard to believe it's your first edit.

I found that the skiers were hard to see. Mess with the color levels, brightness, saturation, etc to get more contrast. And I agree that the dissolves were overused.

nice editing and sick filming but i think you should have more variation. there were just too many shots on like the flat down flat box or whatever it was

sweet edit!
just try to get the dolly shots a tad bit smoother cos all of them stopped suddenly right before the clip ended and it got a little annoying

what camera and dolly did you use?

aight, just a suggestion---u coulda tried to edit on the beats a little more

also yeah u've heard it--overused dolly/dissolves

liked the song, dope skiing

mentioned before but Ill repeat. You need to get the dolly tracks out of there.. I have always been told to never shoot/film your own equipment. Also, IMO I hate when you can see the camera mans shadow. Im not sure why but it just seems lame. Also with your dollys slow it down a bit on some like make it more smooth, and make sure you start moving before your filming or atleast be smoother with starting your dolly..

quality, use of shots and editing was overall good, but i the dolly shot and the crossfades were really repetitive

That was a pretty sick edit, but you over used the dolly, crossfades, and same rails. Not that I don't like rails, but there were too many shots of the same rail all in a row. If you can, try to get the riders to connect two features in one run, just hitting one feature gets a little old. Try messing with follow cams too, I like follow cams.
