My first 900, any tips?

Remember the transition from 3 to 5? Do that. I got mine just by throwing a little harder, keeping my legs up a little longer, and thinking 7 with another 1 behind it.

Just try it again, make sure to spot your landings like you would in a 540. If the spins coming easy, a grab like mute or safety might help control your spin a lil more

yea dude i just landed my first 9 this week. i just did the same thing when i do a 5, spot your landing after your 7 and then just keep your spin going around and look back up to the kicker and stomp that shit. sick feeling when you land your first one. tape your next try and post how it goes. good luck

^ same, i set a 7 tail off the jump, stomped it, next run set the exact same rotation, but grabed mute instead and landed backwards, thought to my self wait a second..... i'm backwards

ok i know it sounds crazy and maybe i'll get flamed for this but... learn it corked. i did a cork 9 before a straight up and down 9. pretty much same with 7s. its smoother and easier. just something to think about

dude.. if your at the point that you can are learning 9s then there isnt any advice that can help you. spin more...

adding spins past 5 isnt learning a new trick its just doing the same thing but more

ugly, never do it again obviously skiers shouldn't be doing 9s cause they look ugly and I would rather watch switch 180s all day

jokes, real goopod for your first

at this point, should i consider trying to spin corks ? if so, should i pick small jumps or large jumps ? What are the basic first steps to learn to spin cork ? Should i start by landing switch or front ? and what is the easiest rotation to cork...

lots of questions, but thanks to answer them :)
