My first 3

read my second post buddy, and yeah, i didnt try to make it sound that way, but yeah we should have the edit feature like on TGR so i can fix my post

i just learned my 3's too :)

the jump i learned on was about as tall as my dog tho lol. im gonna hit the step down at my mt. on saturday and try them there, i have no steeze at all but i feel rad about accomplishing something :)

haha i still haven't landed a 3 yet, god damn...my mountain will probably have more jumps soon soo i guess i can try more then

I remember when i finally got it I was like they're sooo easy and they actually are. I just do em off of little knolls or moguls and its fun.

same situation here. jumps got taken down for snow back in late december and havent been back up since. i was so damn close too. i was gettin like 270 around and then just butterin the rest around when i landed. they'll be up again in a day or two (at least they're supposed to be) but im afraid it might be like startin from scratch again

i remember my first three, then last weekend i started to be able to throw a grab in with it, and i can also 3 off the ground no, at first just the idea of a 3

sounded pretty impossible, but it comes

ya thats my look at this website i can only land a sketchy five but i love the sport and i know a lot about it. so it really dosen't matter if you are a good skier we still love the sport and we know a ton about it so who cares.

i remember when i landed my first three, such a great feeling. its like if your programming and your program FINALLY works after 10000 debugs and errors. im glad i dont personally know any girls on here cause of what i just said, thats like intsant poon-away

just wait til you land you land your first 5 i landed my first 5 last year it felt SO SO SO good

pencil steez!! gotta start somewhere.

but yea for anybody who is still tryinng but not getting, just keep lookin with your head. cause i was used to 180s and not turning my head, just my body. for 3s u gotta look all the way around. good luck!!

congrats dude.

i learned them at the very end of last year, which was my first year of ever skiing. than this year my first try at one, i over-rotated and landed a 5. they are amazing to get.

Im working on mine as well...I can land them like 270 and then I pretty much butter out of it so it doesnt really count, but my problem is I think my brain just shuts off in the air...this makes it very hard to spot my landing, anyway Ill keep working on it, but anytips would be great, especially from those who just got theirs so learning is fresh in their head! Thanks!

i think 3s are easier off bigger jumps. i kept messing up this year on the smaller ones and eventually hurt myself, but i finally was able to ski again yesterday and i went into the bigger park they finished when i "injured" and the first time i tried it i landed it.

you have to keep turning your head.thats the big secret to it.

and landing... well when i land i land way back seat still cuz the jump has no landing to it lol.
