My first 270 onto a rail.

I was practicing them on our little kink box, and I was getting them every time. I decided to try it onto a rail. I got the rotation, but since the lip was to the left, I landed on the front of my boot and slid off. I didn't die, I could have sworn I was going to die on my first 270 onto a rail.

How long did it take you to start dialing your 270's after you started trying?

once you get the feeling of looking down/back to spot the rail, they become very easy. i can usually get them first try or second. but it did take a while to dial them in.

i've yet to dial them, a lot of the time I pop too hard with my left foot and push myself to the side so I just do a weak tail press and slide off the rail after like 3 feet. mad annoying

ive got them so dialed on rails now, and what really really really helpen me was doing pretzels on boxes over and over. that way i would stay locked in and focus. but evvery now and then i wont commit completly to the spin and ill lant backwards on the rail, consequently nutting myself

I used to have that same problem. I fixed it by popping off my right foot on purpose. While it seems like this will make you fall off the other side, it wont because youre so used to popping off your left foot that they even each other out. try it.

Boxes and shit I've got em dialed, but I always have a hard time with rails, switch 2 isnt too bad onto rails, i have a funny ass clip of my high ass tryin a switch 2 on and catching my tail ill post sometime, but if my mountain knew how to build a good jump for a rail and set up good rails, i might not had fallen. But yeah back to 2s on, i always drift when i try it onto rails, i need to work on it.

For me switch 2's are easier than regular 2's so for rails it took me a while to build up the balls to try it. I also thought it was easier to 2 onto a down rails than a flat. Dunno why but down took me only like 2-3 tries.
