today was the last day for me and the other few steamboat kids on this site. no matter how much a season sucked (this year was alright) it's soooo fucking hard to put your shit away in the closet. this is even harder for me cause im not going to any camps this year and i hear blackcomb still has a huge base. oh well, tuesday i leave for AZ for some mt. biking and skating so ill survive

Poor East Coast? How about the midwest. I only had big two snowstorms this year only equalling about 2 feet total. All manmade snow, not enough for a pipe. I was bummed but it was still skiing. I love skiing because a crappy day of skiing is better than a good day of anything else!

Very true ski bum, this year was poor is the east tho to, although i here tucks still has a good amount of snow, but thats about the only place in the east that still has good skiing

i feel you skibum. here in mass we got like 18 in. of snow all winter and nashoba had bare strips along all 5 trails all winter. plus we never had one jump or a pipe.

we had one storm over 5 inches... and the total snow was less thand 1.5 feet... all year... damn new england. There has been no snow in ym yard since mid january, apart from one storm, which melted within 2 days. Although we do have tuckermans, which will be done within a week.

I here all you guys I ride in OH. WE had no snow this year. I was so bummed out but I will be in whistler on june 20 cause thats the first day of camp that we will be on the snow at SMS!!!!!!!! I cant wait !

I live about 4 hours from anything that you could call a mountain and we still got about 25-35 cm the day before last. I'm getting killed in school right now, so i cant even go and get some last urban jibs in. I think I'm gonna cry.

fuck ya the west is the best... snow, big moutain and fine women haha. my local mt. is closed but has like 90 inchs on the base. damn forest service land lease

Poor midwest and east? Poor South and Mid-Atlantic! Dirt weed, crappy mountains, and warm seasons with little snow....at least the summers are nice, albeit hotter than Rosie O Donnels armpit
