When we had my dog Lucy as a puppy, she was always breaking out of her kennel. And after she was about 3, she grew out of that age. Now she is 11. And she is at it again.

My parents realized that they were out of their room when they came home from work. So my dad set up a camera to see how it went down. my dogs Lucy and Samson.

hahah When I lived in Luxembourg for a few months studying i lived with a host family who had a cat. The cat could open doors like that. It would jump up and hold on to that type of door handle and pull it down. Never caught it on tape but it was badass.

my neighbor used to have an Airedale Terrier that could do this by its self, it could open the kitchen door and get into the back yard, or vice versa

My dog figured out how to open the sliding door into my backyard. So she just lets herself out when she wants. I just need to teach her to close it.

Every morning at 6:15 sharp my dog opens the front door (secondary glass door) and runs down out whole drive way (300 ft) to get the paper, then brings it to the front door and waits for my dad to let him in with the paper. He taught himself.

my dog was a deaf, mostly blind shih tzu and he couldnt do anything cool. when he was getting really old i started taking him on hikes all the time, sometimes twice a day. he couldnt go very far since his legs were so short, but wed walk into the woods a couple hundred yards and hed sniff everything and it was awesome.

We've always had GSP's as dogs and our last one was the smartest animal I've ever met. About a quarter of a mile down the road is a housing estate where the residents get their milk delivered everyday. She used to run down every morning and steal a glass bottle of milk (This is England). Anyway, she'd bring it all the way home, dig a hole in the garden, open the cap and pour the milk into the hole so that she could drink it. Smart fucker. If you tied her up with rope, she'd rap the rope around her paw to tension it and chew through it in about 5 minutes. Anyone who says animals are stupid are idiots.

my aunt used to have a german shepherd that could open doors. not only could it get open handles like the one in the video but it could actually turn knobs somehow and it knew how to work one of the locks in her house that was a big latch

my dog has recently starting doing this annoying new habit. whenever i leave him in the car for more then 5 min. he conticues to honk the car horn till i come back to the car. little dickhead.

My dog can do this. I let her out then go inside and I'll hear the door creek five minutes later and everyone is just like " dogs home."

my dog projectile shits, it will rear up and let er rip. he poops on the sliding door screen all the time. its like putting poop through a cheese grater.

I demand that you rename your dog Houndini

hehe, get it? HOUNDini... HOUND-ini... hehehehehehehehe

oh boy, i crack myself up...

That ws so cool dude, I have a golden retriever puppy and I want to train her. She can sit and shake sometimes. How do you get them to do more? K+

repetition and rewarding. My dog is no houdini, but he can sit, shake, lay down, go to place (go to his dogbed), and all the simple things. Hes only 1 so I'd consider him fairly smart.

His best trick is "swag"

im tryin to train my younger one samson how to shake. but if he sits, and you put your head down to him... he just lays right to the ground and rolls over on his back..

when he was a puppy he could sit, lie down, and jump on command, but when he got old he was always like nah fuck that just gimme the cookie.

we called them wookie cookies, cause hes a wookie.

I wish my dog barked at mail trucks. She's like stealth mode at all times. We just got a retriever who goes nuts whenever someone comes home so she's picking up on it though. Huskies are tough to train its much easier with another well trained dog like the retriever here. Anyone have a husky with tips?
