My dog dosen't like me...

...when I smoke while i take her for a walk. Be it cigs or bud, she seems to hate when I smoke. I never blow the smoke near her or anything but she always pulls the other way on the leash when we walk down to the small beach i usually smoke at and while i smoke she looks the other way and seems really sad. I don't know if this is common for dogs...

do you think she dislikes the smoke or the fact that im smoking? I'm wondering if its a sign.

Does anyone else's dog do this? Note: there was one time where i was smoking bud with my friend and he blew a fat cloud into her face/ears and im pretty sure she got high she was kinda trippin (i could totally be wrong but im pretty sure dogs can get high through their ears) But the thing is that was a while ago and ive never done it since.

Thoughts?

 
Yeah she used to not mind it but i suppose that makes sense. I guess ill have to find a new excuse to leave my house to smoak cuz i hate to see her sad like that.

 
sorry my internets goin slow as shit, tried to get in right after the video....but have you had her since she was a pup? if not it could have something to do with a previous owner.
 
my parents know damn well theres no way i would ever go on a 'run'

and to the comment a few above yes we've had her since she was a puppy. its even weirder because i used to smoke all the time on walks and she didn't seem to care at all... im really wondering if she had a bad experience getting high... i know ive had some of those imagine what that would be like if you were a dog

and back on topic maybe your dog thinks you're getting sick.. also one of my moms dogs just hates the smell of pot smoke.. always sneezes or snarles at the smell of a burning joint...

 
jesus... if you talk about smoking weed on this site people assume you're a 14 year old and you're just trying to sound cool.

so you are saying that smokers shouldn't be dog owners? That would put a good percentage of dogs with nice homes on the street. nice thinking.

OP: My dog doesnt like smoke either. Im sure its just because they have a sensitive nose, not because they hate you.
 
it makes sense... like humans get high from certain substances when we put them in our... sensory organs (mouth/nose/skin even) and a dogs ears and nose are like 100 times better than ours so i bet they get ripped. imagine how whited a dog would get!!
 
Dude im sorry to say this but you need to kill your dog....

all kidding aside, dogs can absorb thc through the ears. Some peoples dogs love getting high but since dogs have super sensitive noses blowing smoke in their ears is a more appropriate way
 
I know I'm taking it a little too far but I guess Im a dog person.If someone can't make the decision to not smoke they usually aren't very responsible(in most cases) to take care of a dog/and its bad for the dog.

But you should get a bunch of cats. I hate cats.
 
agreed,your dog probably had a bad high or just got really baked and hated it, humans do the same shit. My dog loves getting stoned with me aha
