Okay, i got my Look Px12 mounted, but the din is only to 5. Im 140 LBS, Aggressive, all park skier. My Rossi Axiums are at a 6, and they are perferct, my Salmomons are at a 6, and they are perfect. Do i need to bring them into a shop to get adjusted...or can i do it? I wan to turn them to a 6. Also, when im doing the heelpiece, does it need to be engaged like a boot is in it???

u can just get a screw driver and turn it urself, its super easy.( its the big screw at the front) check the searchbar for more explained answers

I looked myself and found soemthing that might help you

try that:

searchbar didnt turn up too much...

I dont turn the screw foer the healpiece?? I would make the heel DIN 6, and the toe DIN 6..sorry for the impropper terminology, and to the above post, lol, i dont understand the chart..

lol, i know it has to do with weight, adn ability, and i KNOW that i shoud me minimum 6..hhaha, where is Nomen when you need him, hes a sneaky guy

yep adjusting just turn the big screw in the front to the right a couple clicks, for the heel piece its down in the middle, of the boner piece, I normally just throw the boot in so its facing upwards, just turn it to the right until it gets to the line u want it at

if ur salomons are at 6 and there perfect and u weigh 140Lbs u cant be that aggresive cause im 120Lbs and my salomon are at 10

oh yeah and if nobodys already said it u screw in the bib silver screws on the front of the toe piece and the big silver screw on the back of the heel

i dont know if it is the same on the new rossis..but on mine from like 2 years ago u put the screw driver down the heel peice. there ios a screw there. turn it. lol

The DIN is also based on your boot size. Specifically Boot Sole Length (the small number in mm molded on the outside of the heels). On the chart you find your weight, then scroll across to your boot sole length range. That number is your type 1 skier Din. Go down one row for type 2, one more for type 3. The charts can be a little different between binding makers too.

Example: I am 185 lbs with a 304mm boot sole, type 3 skier.

Go across from the 175-209 lbs square to the 291-310mm square. That would be a 6.25 DIN for type. I am a 3 so go down two to 9.0.

Special notes - Use your height if you are an abnormal weight for your height (specifically light).

The bigger your boot, the lower the DIN because your boot acts as a larger lever.

Now all you kiddies can go forth with screw drivers and mess up your knees by ignoring everything I just explained about the chart.
