Watching 20 some dudes dance and twist volume knobs on stage seems totally worth however many hundred dollars a paradiso ticket costs.

I mean call me old fashioned, but I feel like the point of paying money to go to a show is to watch the show am I wrong?

You shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars to go to a dance party, or at least if you do don't pretend it's a concert.

I actually think you're wrong. Even for an "old" show, (rock, metal, orchestra, etc.) it still isn't about the visual aspect of WATCHING them perform, it was about witnessing a live version of the music and the surrounding atmosphere.

I love going to EDM shows, most producers put together awesome mixes that flow really well and get the whole crowd going. If you want to ask why can't I just play their music on itunes it's the exact same: I think most rock vocalists sound like shit when they perform live, why don't you just listen to their studio stuff on itunes? It sounds so much better

fuck yeah i'm gonna wear my favorite neon tank top with my favorite set of boardshorts and then put on my neon wayfarers before decking my wrists out in tons of weird bracelet things, putting on lots of neon body paint, and getting really sweaty while washing the taste of molly out of my mouth with a $9 water bottle. EDM 4 LYF!!! SPRING BREAK WOOOO

sweet lineup, unreal venue. hopefully the crowd is not as lame as last years after movie made it look though. the crowd can make or break this kind of event

The only "artist" I would want to see from that list is Crystal Method. Lineup looks gay as fuck. Bunch of 18-21 year olds rolling face being annoying as fuck thinking Tiesto is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

The ones hating are either 14, have never been to a good festy/show, or don't like edm as a whole...which ok, don't go, dont bitch...I don't cry about your lame ass concerts.

Didn't go last year when it was a one night deal but heard it was fun as hell.

This year being a 2 day 2 night should be pretty sick, I'm stoked.

Hell yeah! The lineup is unreal...covers a huge spread of sub genres with some really rad artists. I'm stoked:D

I'd rather see Tiesto alone... pretty meh...

also... wtf is it with electronic artists and their 'logos' haha. They all look like startup skateboard companies from the 1990's.

Meh, I don't expect to go to any more EDM shows unless they're free (or it's Daft Punk). I've seen a bunch of shows over the past few years (Tiesto, Dada Life, Avicii, Porter Robinson, Deadmau5, Tommy Trash, Skrillex, Zedd, Flux Pavillion, Calvin Harris, etc.) and they've kinda lost their fun, and definitely not worth the price. I saw Avicii for $10 fucking dollars (claim) and now to see him you have to pay $50+. No thanks.

I still like listening to EDM though, but the overpriced tickets and disgusting crowds are what have stopped me from going to any more concerts.

I'd much rather see some live talent on actual instruments. Take John Butler, for example. I'm traveling 10 hours to see him and his band open for DMB. Take a listen.

I love EDM shows and this lineup looks rad, but last years AfterMovie made it look like it was a bunch of the douchiest 18 year olds in the country crowded into one place.

I see where you are coming from with the crowds.

I prefer to go to smaller electronic shows, mostly because the crowds aren't as fucking retarded, but I haven't seen a lot of the artists I would really enjoy seeing live. Take for example, Sound Remedy, Gramatik, or Porter Robinson. They haven't come through my town in a very long time, and Paradiso is a great chance to see all three of them, as well as many other artists that are on my to-see list.

I bought the pre-sale tickets as well, which went for $100. The way I see it, spending that amount of money to see such a wealth of artists that I love to listen to doesn't seem that expensive. I see where you are coming from though.

That video was great too btw, not my kind of music (disclaimer: I don't listen to just EDM lol), but I liked it.

Kaskade's Turn it Down and Porter Robinsons Language would be killer too. When Armin played the coldplay language remix i almost flew

I go to this one every year, and I'm not about to miss it this year either. It's not quite the lineup that was when Phish and Soundtribe played it, but damn, this looks sweet! Best of all it's in the middle of San Francisco in August, so it's always beautiful weather and you have one of the best nightlifes ever at your disposal after the last show.

Shit I'm jealous of anybody that gets to this. Can't find one line that doesn't have somebody I recognize
