sick pants man haha that is sweet. I used to think my dad was so gay and what not, and he used to say stuff like how he could kick my ass at skiing, and blah blah blah. And i didn't believe him and just thought he was being an idiot.

Well then I went with him when i was like 10 and he was like 40, and there is like 20 ft rock at our resort and i was like "damn thats a crazy drop" and he goes pshhh... zipped up his jacket and put his goggles on and just went for it and mule kicked, stuck the landing then rode down like 45 feet where i met him (i went around) and he was like... I think i broke my back hahahahahaaha he was ok but he threw his abck out, and now he just skis the groomers and doesn't push it. I was sprung off him after that haha

my dad met my mom in college at the UH-Manoa where my dad grew up. she had to move to boulder (her parents got mad at her for being in hawaii for 5 years doing nothing) so he spent all of his money on a plane ticket to boulder and ski boots. he moved out to boulder with my mom even though he had been to the snow once and the 2 of them "went to college," bummed around skiing and eventually my dad wrote the Powder Hounds Guide to Skiing Alta. yeah, thats awesome.

my dad is by far cooler than i am and its sad.
