If you remeber my post from a month ago i thought i would just update you guys. He finally passed away. He hung on for an extra month but it was obvious he wasnt goin to pull through. Im glad his suffering is over and now i can try to cope. I just wanted to thank all of you one more time for the kindness and messages we recieved from so many of you! IT truly meant the world to him! We have continued to watch the videos and pics you have posted up until the night before he died!

A special thank you to Triple_Strum who shipped me his NS hoodie at no cost. It actually put my dad in tears so we decided to bury him in it~ So he will forever be a part of the NS community! Thank you again Triple_Strum

Also to h30films who rushed us a copy of Hibachi king for my dad to enjoy for the last couple weeks he was with us! Also meant the world to my dad!

Its members like these who truly value what it menas to be a skier. And their kindness will not be forgotten!

Best of wishes to you man, I'm sorry, I have a friend whos dad died recently of cancer and ive seen the torment he's going through. Theres nothign I can do or say to help as I'm just text on a webpage to you But I really, from the bottom of my heart, hope you can pull through and remember the good thigns about him and forget the bad.

On another note, I'm extremely impressed with what a few members did to help. Its the small thigns which count and I'm proud to be a part of a community where there are at least some people who are so decent to make an active part in this guys life.

well, i know theres nothing that no one can say to make it feel better. although it always helps to talk to people who have experienced the same thing. my father passed away two years ago when i was almost 21 and he died right in my arms.

it takes a while but the pain while turn into simply fond memories of your father. my prayers are with you and your family.
