My dad just friend requested me on facebook...

dude just deny... i accepted the request from my mom thinkin it would be alright but its a little awkward, now id feel worse defriending though
 
my mom did the same thing.. i added her, but i blocked her from seeing anything so its pretty much the same idea as not friending.. good thing she doesnt know whats going on
 
but.. its my dad. hes gonna be like wtf?

its one thing for aunts and uncles who you dont see often enough for it to be awk. its another thing when its your own parents

 
You can restrict him from seeing certain things on your page. That's what I've done with my boss. So we're friends, but little does she know..... =)
 
i was honestly just in the same boat as you. mad awk. so i just put limited profile before i added him. i guess thats the right thing to do ? whats a "limited" profile ? like what can't he see
 
ye i think parents would be a little weird. glad my parents dont have one and they dont want one. my friends parents tried to friend him but he just never accepted it or denied it so just do that they will never know.

And stuff like this happening is why no one will use facebook in a year or two. Mark Zuckerburg is a fool for not selling it for a shit ton of money when he had the chance.
 
my dads pretty damn computer savvy. i think hed notice. i accepted, and just limited him. well see if he says anything. better him than my mom though i suppose.

just straight up accept it but then go to recently added friends put them on limited profile, then go to settings (top right of screen) and change around profile view settings or something and make it so limited porfile people cant see anything but your status, they dotn know any better, you have to do this^ part for it to work, otherwise they are just your friend under a list called limited profile
 
haha i have my mom and step dad and aunt as friends on facebook... but they are either too retarded with technology to view my pictures or they already know about the things i do and are chill with it. accept!! haha
 
i dont see what the problem is im friends with all my relatives on facebook. soo what theres pictures of you drinking and being stupid. i dont see a big deal

no way in hell. my dad has facebook but wont even think about adding me so thats okay but still. he has it on his iPhone too so i always change his status to stupid shit.
 
Well your dad can't see the difference between you "Ignoring" his friend request and you not hitting either accept or ignore... so just ignore
 
My mum added me, she left it on on her computer one day so I went and blocked myself on hers so she sees nothing and doesn't realise. If you can't do that, then limited profile them.
 
I just requested my uncle on FB. I can't write on his fucking wall though. Wanker. Good thing he's only my dad's half brother.
 
My dad did too, i accepted, then realized, he can see everything i do... then i took him off my friends and he didn't even care.
 
I've got my aunt, and distant cousins on mine, they're all on my limited profile. And my boyfriend's dad has a FB...if he ever sent me a friend request i'd be fucked.
 
my mom and dad asked me if id add them if they made accounts and i said no haha. but they wouldnt make accounts anyways
 
My mum has facebook but she doesn't even want me as her friend so I have nothing to worry about. She just plays those stupid applications on it all day.
 
my mom said accept or give me our password.

so i reported her, got her account lifted, and got away with it.
