My Custom 5 footer Longboard

Well I finished it today. It's 5 feet of glorious beauty. And It's probably the funnest board I've ever ridden, because of it's wicked flex, and gigantic size.

Tell me what you think...

I'm also open for suggestoins for designs, shapes, etc.

some kid here made a 12' one, and you can have like 5 people ride it, it's really fun. and some kids just put risers and trucks on a snowboard, if you want a really flexy board.

you should make a penis shaped board

and i've already done the snowboard one, i just cut it down so it didn't bottom out and cut out wheel wells

It's made of 4 plies of 1/8th" baltic birch. each ply has 3 veneers, seen in the profile view.

and the turning is suprinsingly good. it can turn around on a 2 lane street.

grip looks nice, clean, and simple.

it's personal opinion but i stained my 60 incher with a darker like mahogony color and i love the way it looks. there so many different dyes and stains that are cheap, easy to apply, and can make a really cool difference. good job with the board though, have fun with it.

I plan on varnishing it to a) waterproof it and b) stain it to look nice

there's a kid at my school that used a wakeboard deck for one. way too wide to be practical though
