She doesnt have to imagine what those other people went through working their asses off to get there cuz she did it. Skiing is dangerous, if she wasnt in the right mental space to compete then maybe she saved herself from a serious injury, who knows.

As frustrating as it can be to watch an olympic athlete opt out of competing, you’re literally shitting on a 17 year old for feeling unprepared and unsafe.

People have to chill out with complaining about athletes dropping out, especially in dangerous sports like skiing and gymnastics

Not calling you an asshole, but I think there's no need to put down other skiers. I get what you mean though. Theres a lot of skiers in general who look uncomfortable skiing in between features lol
