My city's police department just made...

never ask if cops have anything better to do, because they don't. Police work is relative. There are not always murders and things like that. You've been watching too much TV. Police work is, for the most part, bland and somewhat boring.

and i'm not too concerned about this if it happens to me. They can go right ahead and look at my page all the want. All they'll discover is that me and my friends like discussing premier league teams.

ok i got a good one thats like yours. so our principal at our school made a fake account and went around joining groups. then theres this one group of a bong shop we have in town. and if you became a fan of this bong shop the principal called you to the office and said un-become a fan or your suspended.
to about 200 kids.
they said it was all about school rep but hell like we give a shit

thats why i dont accept friend requests from people i dont know

and i dont post anything on facebook that doesnt belong

hahaha. i wouldnt not consider living with your parents at 25 anywhere near successful. im 20 and i moved out a year and a half ago. but for real. lets stick the the 39 story here. back when i was your age we just had to worry about the police finding a polaroid of us doing something stupid...

well, 25 in terms of out of college or whatever.

maybe 23 or 24 realistically now that i think about it, not counting medschool

and polaroid... lulzheimers

Someone from another country should make an account and befriend the kid. Then drop huge party invites on their wall to random places.

That's not probably cause you dumbass. The picture could be photoshopped, it could not even be weed the person is holding, the list goes on. Probable Cause would be if they smelt weed on you, then they have the right to search you.

this is all old news.

police departments use the internet all day. its the new organized crime. post any electronic music event up on facebook that isn't at a legit club and the cops are there in no time.

there are also people who create fake accounts and act like normal people but they just friend people to extract their personal information for targeted marketing.

Obstruction of justice? How would that hold up in court? Its quite the legal limbo
Plus, you can mask your IP

In terms of after college.

A lot of kids still live at home over the summer until after college, at least from the college kids I know

That's gay. For after-prom last year we made a decoy drinking event on facebook so teachers wouldn't find out where the real party was. Turns out our decoy party got "busted" before it even happened and since it was said to be at my one friends house, he had to deal with the state police. How lameee

They won't bother you, you'll know a fake profile when you see it.

You're an hour away from where I live, and I live in a really small town. Don't worry about it

yea i am sure he is 39, and moved out of his house when he was 35...... you look so foolish for buying into that. retard.

and i look foolish for not looking ahead and realizing that you have already been called out. you can ignore my post haha. but i do agree with everyone else, i would consider a 25 year who just moved out to not be a successful adult, for they still have yet to experience living not in their parents house. but that has been cleared up pretty much as well.

I really dont know why people feel compelled to post pictures of themselves drinking it only leads to unnecessary consciences look down the road a bit past next friday night. Someday you might need a job, and the first place your employer is going to look is facebook. In most cases its more detailed than a FBI back ground check. So think twice don't incriminate yourself. But with that said the older generation really doesn't understand how much more the younger generation knows about technology than they do. The cops are just losing a one sided battle with fake facebooks.

Wow, okay asshole. They called all of us that said we were "attending" the party down to the auditorium, our vice principal read the event description that said "let's get drunk, NO- let's get fucked up", and then made myself and my friend who said it was at his house stay because we were both event admins, then after that he had to go to the office and talk to the state police. He didn't get charged with anything because obviously nothing happened yet, but the police had to call and talk to both of his parents (who are divorced, so seperate phone calls) and that wasn't pretty. Then when prom night actually came around there were cops staked outside his house to make sure no one went there after, and ones said to be following his jeep. Pretty inconvenient

If your dumb enough to post incriminating photos on the internet you deserve to be punished for it. Why do something illegal and then post it on the internet, Once it hits the internet it isn't private any more

thats lame. im pretty sure its illegal where i live to make a profile pretending to be someone else, because a mom did it and some girl killed herself cause of it. thats basically the cops doing the same thing

is that really a law? thats fucken retarted. i know with weed you can only be arrested if you are physically caught in posession

i keep getting random friend requests from really hot girls that have like 50 friends, none of which are mutual. im trying to figure who the alias is for

Yeah this just happened to my school, read the chick reason why she just got a facebook, from moving from arizonia to minnesota and her album titles. Kendra Thomas look her up
