sorry to hear that
by the way i wear my cats on my head too
ive personally never had to put down any pets but i kinda can see how your feeling
my dad's friend, this lonely guy about 70 yrs lives by himself. no wife, etc. hes a smart ass guy and could make a ton, when he was younger he found out how the slots worked at a casino and could have made a fortune but the security came and told him to leave, and he left the money there too....
he went to like vietnam and almost got killed as a kid in WW2 so hes all like twichty and shakes his head.
anyways, he has a few cats that hang out around his house and some that he are closer with, he drove up to seattle once (lives in LA, we used to too) and took his cat with him (in his trucK) and after chilling with him for lunch or something when he leaves we see the cat come flying out of the trunk of the truck, and heard a bam too. the cat runs into the woods nearby, we find him and just terrible, the owner thinks he will be alright but his body becomes more tight by the min, and the eyes are just out and not straight. obviously in pain and its just sooo sad, it was like those war movies where someone gets shot,
so we drive to our pets vets, since its the only one we know around and get there, we wait for about half an hour but the doctors come out and say he couldnt make it. and my dads friend wanted to hold him for the last time. it was really sad, felt like hours more then actuallity, i could write a lot more. it was just sooo sad. like i said my dad's friend was pretty lonely guy and his cats are what he held close to him, especially that one. and i saw him cry, it was painful and sad to watch.
not trying to steal your thread, and im sorry for your cat again,
we just hope that all our pets are in a better place now and having fun
and in the future medical things for pets become better.
