bear with me withthis one.. ill sum it up im out 30 grand.

alot of ppl know me on this site as the suby guy ive built multiple cars and my last car i ended up going nuts with and i really didnt need a 550WHP daily driver. soo i posted it for sale. a month later a kid messages me and says he had a 2008 jeep srt8. ive always wanted one and it was more practical.jeep value was 33k and i had aroudn that just in mods in my sti but i took this hit and traded vehicles.

jeep was awesome i loved it. before anyone tries to explain what i did wrong i did a carfax and history report on that vin and the car had a clean title and i was handed a NY title. im a car guy i know what to look for.. the car was broken into afew weeks after i got it and they stole my macbook, ipod (10k songs), versace sunglasses, cologn, okakley prescription glasses and some money. it was locked no one knows how they got in but after they did my car wouldnt lock soo i brought it to the dealer. the dealer had a issue cutting a key soo i left them it and came back and they had bad news. they found another vin on the vehicle. IT WAS STOLEN AND NEVER RECOVERED IN 08

soo now i freak out and call the police and report it. i go thru the jeep with my dad and we find a repair order from the kid before me he went to a dealer also. my dad called and they said they told the kid the vin wasnt real and it was altered soo he still sold me the vehicle. State police came and took the jeep from me last week. now he has my retarded car that i put every bit of effort in and i have a loan. oh and hes parting the car off on a subaru site. its fine.

i needed to vent this out figures newschoolers could use a epic fail story
 
You do know you can sue people for shit like this right? This is either fraud or conversion(??) something that the person will be arrested for.

Call a lawyer.
 
that fuckin sucks man. that kids a douche for trading the jeep knowing it didnt have a legit vin. best of luck gettin your car back and gettin this shit figured out.

damn you failed hard. also your car wouldnt locked cuz they popped the door like AAA would if you were locked out. stick a wedge in and pump it up then shimmy the switch.
 
I know it looked like a bad trade but the car was a straight up drag at and not super trees friendly. I wanted something nice. The kid caught gist that it wasn't legit
 
He also waited till the title came back in his name till he messaged me and also he only owned it for 3 months and put left then 1k on it. I had it for the same period of time and I put 4k on it. The last owner before him only owned it for 3 months too.. I found this all out when it was too late. His threads locked on nasioc soo my stuff won't sell. Meh
 
This is simple. Get a lawyer, sue his ass, get your car back, then murder the guy anyway. Problem solved.
 
For real. I loaned this kid my level 80 Charizard so that he could beat the Elite Four in exchange for his Cosmic Brownie, but he never gave the Charizard back. I haven't made a trade since.

that subaru was insane. when you picked that shit up from my friends i could hear it from like half a mile away and you were doing like 20...
 
Dam dude that sucks so much. Hire a lawyer, sue his ass, and get your car back. This is what courts are made for.
 
Sorry I fucked up that quote, it had a 2011 nitrate crank, cp ceramic coated 99.5 pistons, Manley turbotuff rods, cosworth head gasket, cosworth oil pump, built heads with highlight cams and such. Turbo was hta 3586R it made over 500whp on low boost and like 600+ on high boost+race gas
 
Pretend to be interested in the parts he's selling from the Subaru, agree to meet somewhere, get bunch of friends to come with you, then beat his ass and take your car back.
 
And your just gonna let it be that you basically just lost like over $40 grand? You seem pretty chill about all of this, i would be freaking out right now
