My CAPS lock BUTTON is MESsed UP help PLEASE

OK i HAVE a MACBOOK and whenever I press THE spacebaR it TURNS on MY caps LOCK bUTTON. also WHENEVER i Press THE down ARROW too. has THIS happened TO anyone ELSE and DOES anyone have ANY ideas for GETTING rid OF this PROBLEM??? ITs really REALLY reallY annoying

OP here had a problem with keys acting up as well. They had him do a PRAM, NVRAM, PMU reset, which solved his problem.

This one talks about keys not working in general. I don't think this would be the solution since it has you disassemble your Macbook, but who knows it might.

It sounds like the Macbook keyboards have a lot of problems. I would try to contact Apple or see if you can trade it for a new one. Hope those websites help!
 
My buddy just had to take his Macbook in to get its keyboard replaced. Probably what you are going to have to do.
 
Ok so this is what you are going to do.

Go into system prefs.
> Keyboard/Mouse> Modifier Keys (Bottom left)> Restore Defaults.
Sham wow!

 
bum diggity, that sucks but yea i'd say just go in with the apple 1 year warranty and see if they can hook it up with the new mac book cause its sick....just yell at em on the phone and say your caps lock has gotten to you
