you guys are assholes, if your brother really is that 'fat' then starting him off on running won't do shit but hurt the kid. Start him off on walking, have him go outside and walk a mile around the block or on a track. Make a schedule for the poor kid. Have your parents buy reduced fat food. Take away this kids video games and tv privileges. Here's my plan for you
1st Month:
Monday - Stretch, then walk 1 mile
Tuesday - Stretch, walk one mile, 20 sit ups
Wednesday - Stretch, ride bike for 2 miles
Thursday - Stretch, Walk one mile
Friday - Stretch, walk one mile 20 sit ups
WEEKENDS OFF
(repeat for entire month)
2nd Month-
Monday - Stretch, Jog 1 Mile at 11 minute pace
Tuesday - Stretch, Jog 1 mile at 10 minute pace
Wednesday - Stretch, bike 4 miles
Thursday - Stretch, jog 1 mile at 11 minute pace
Friday - Jog 1 mile as fast as possible
WEEKENDS 20 SIT UPS PER DAY
3rd Month
Montday - Stretch run 1 mile at 9 minute pace
Tuesday - Stretch, run 1 mile at 9 minute pace
Wednesday - Stretch, Run 2 miles at 11 minute mile pace
Thursday - Bike for 5 miles
Friday - Bike 5 miles
WEEKENDS 50 sit ups per day
Within about a 3 month period, your brother will most likely lose about 40 pounds. This will only be true if you help this kid out, make him stay on his schedule, and force him to get outside and get active. When hes sitting around take him outside and play some tennis or frisbee. Also make sure this kid eats right.
