My Boots Suck!

Alright so Ive been skiing in some old technicas. Whenever I go skiing my shins start hurting pretty bad. I do a lot of butters/presses and I get some bad bruising on the front and back of my legs. I then have some trouble walking when I take my boots off. I was thinking about getting some FT (not to be a trend whore or anything). Im getting into touring but do much more resort skiing. What boots would you recommend? I'm a size 31-32 depending on the boot. I'm going to get fitted but I just want some opinions as well. What boots won't give me shinbang?

Go to a shop that has a respectable boot fitter and get fitted for boots. Full tilts might not even fit your feet a boot fitter will find a boot that fits your foot you will be alot happier if you get fitted

Only the boots that fit YOU. Don't listen to what other people say works for them because they don't have your feet. If someone hates X boot, it might be the perfect thing for you and vice versa. Trust your local fitter, trust your feet, and make sure to get footbeds. Given the physics of skiing and the nature of feet, you will most likely be happiest with a good footbed that will keep your foot from moving inside the boot.

Once you have found a boot that works for you, then it makes sense to ask NS if anyone has had any durability problems or other issues with the boot. But, in the end, always buy what works for you and not someone else.

To bad this wont fit in your sig. That would save you the effort of typing it again and again in these boot threads

Get a footbed like onenerdykid said, my boots where hurting me and giving me sore tendons in my feet, went to the shop and got a footbed fitted and it stopped my feet from hurting and my boots feel super comfy now.
