My best ski bud went not core, help

my best ski bud and good friend has sold out. he use to be cool, ride Vs, baggy pants, smoke spliffs and talk to mad shawtys. but one day at some pro-skier fwt bro came into the shop he works at, and told him rossignol sender is best ski. so he like sucks the rep off and gets some rossi deal where he gets a full outerwear kit, skis and boots. then i text him the other day to go preseason sesh, he says he cant cause hes going to some rossignol dinner, and just responds with "big things coming"

he now wants all his clips filmed vertical, and thinks he skis big mountain but hes just inbounds at alta and always posts on ig @rossignol. I even saw on his phone once hes in a group chat called "rossi to the world". idk what to do, should i still clip him up because he has a good pro-deal on pivots, or is he lost forever?

Sounds like a lost cause sadly :( Thats crazy to see the reverse, I have friends (co-workers who I ski with) that are very gaper swag and I try to educate them on their core score but it hasnt worked very well.
 
it’s really sad. Cause he sew his own ski pants and we were going to partner together and make a pant company. Now his pants just sit on the floor.

And I’ve been forced to hang out with his roommate who is a non-core tele skier (doesn’t hit rails)
 
I think there’s still a chance. He may still love the V’s and baggy pants but is just having a career focused phase. Don’t give up on him
