My Best Friend

I would be the coolest guy if I won that!

hahah that sounded wierd. What I ment was I would be cool because I would help everyone out when they realy need it. plus get tonnes of awsome shit for myself.

damm it, Im jealous!

I'd quit anything I'm doing and go live the simple life out West yet having the money to buy anything i want, when i want

he wants to move to florida and open a bar or a club. Then just pay all of us to run different aspects of it.

Congrats man. The downside to our society is you need money to be able to live a fulfilling life. To get money, you have to work. Unfortunately, to live a good life you need to work. Luckily for your friend, he is now set (assuming he lives within his means), and can live a fulfilling life without having to play the corporate rat race. That is one lucky man.

now, if he invested the money into an education, and also got a career, he could be THAT much more successful. im sure this money will be heavily taxed and a fair bit less then 5000, but none the less its free money and peace of mind.

good thing i read that posts before i posted, by 5000k a week i thought you meant he got 5,000,000 a week, that is fucking more than charlie sheen gets a week.

this and to the op ya buying a bar and getting a bunch of people who have no idea what the fuck they are doing to run it is a great idea

yeh but now hes gonna sue CBS for stopping the show so this will be quite fun to see the turnout of all this shit hes dealing with haha

thats great for him and all, like he is never going to have to worry about money, unless he faces some serious problems, but that really isnt that much

do the math, its 240,000 per year. while that is still a lot, enough to live comfortably, it is not a ton compared to many people today

I wanna know where you live that there are "many people" making over 240k these days

But I am not jealous because he is probably going to be murdered by the scratch off company.

I would save up and buy a medium sized abandoned ski resort, fix it up, and make it an all terrain park mtn. Could make millions in profit if it's in the right area and it has good features and lodging and that stuff

Boston University. Everywhere I walk I see rich kids. Some drive cars worth two years of tuition ($110,000) literally 4 or 5 city blocks to get to class.

That sucks about you living in America eh? 50% lottery tax definitely sucks man, only about 130,000 a year. definitely not enough for a bar

Before, the crazy thing is the previous 3 days at work he went on the crazy scratch off winning spree, he won like 400 on scratch offs the previous couple days, then i get back from a delivery and he goes get in ym car right now. I got in he threw that shit on my lap and we just started freaking out.

5,000 x 52 weeks in a year = $260,000/year before taxes.
and you're saying he won that for life?

i'm calling bullshit. if it's true, that's amazing....but i've never heard of any lottery working that way

We had a similar thing in Finland for years, called "Sabbath". Approximately $15,000 a month tax-free for the rest of your life.
