New single out!! We're starting to get blog write-ups, stickers, shirts, the whole shabang. Check the song:https://soundcloud.com/manwolves-2/these-days

Pretty stoked to see this thread get bumped, although this is a bit too laid back for me specifically. A bit more aggression on the drums and in your voice, and you'd be surprised at how many more people would catch on.

It's on the verge of being too lovey dovey, or almost like parents dinner party music. It just needs a bit more pop and you guys would probably go pretty far.

that being said, you guys obviously know your way around producing a track and that's pretty awesome. Good to see you guys kept doing your thing aha

Man, I love your guys' stuff. Are some of you (or all of you) more atypical jazz people when you're not with the band? Just curious because your music is actually interesting to listen to.

Any chance you guys are rolling through Montreal in the future? Your group and Busty and the Bass would be such an awesome show!

Very nice music, sounds Sublime like. However for example in Bad Habits, those need new lyrics. The lyricist says the same thing like 100 times in a row and its super annoying with an awesome beat. Work on lyrics. The music however is pretty sick, just need a new singer or write the lyrics better.

UPDATE: We've got everything up on Spotify and just got added to Spotify's "US Viral Top 50" playlist (check it: www.billboard.com/charts/spotify-viral-50). Bout to release a music video, got tons of merch, too many stickers.

We're planning on a tour this May that will be sort of a round trip from Chicago to Colorado, if any of you guys go to school/live somewhere along the way and are able to set us up with shows or contacts that would be dope.

Everything is looking good, thanks for fuckin with us lol.

Dude some killer tunes... Also not gonna lie would be sick in the background of a killer ski video/while skiing... Keep up the good work my man expressing your musical talent!

Just released a music video that got on Fake Shore Drive (one of the biggest Chicago music blogs) check the cut:

Just saw you guys live, shit was dope man. Shout out to one of your dads for suggesting that you put the speaker on the chair. Keep it up the good work.

whats the hardest/easiest part about making music with other people?

damn just saw this. but with this band the hardest part is that there's 6 different people with 6 different opinions about most issues so problem solving can take a while. but easiest part is that we were all friends beforehand so there's a great personal dynamic in the band

I know I'm just going to get shit on again but didn't you say your band was "getting big" over 3 years ago? There aren't even ANY tour dates on your website or even facebook.

I get that you were 12 or whatever when you made this thread but Jesus.

I'm not saying I'm expecting you to be playing arenas or anything but where are the dates? You should be playing at the very least one offs or mini runs in the area/states around you. Even what we would consider pretty damn small bands are playing are playing around their state with some small tours around other states, and maybe a yearly tour several states away. That's in addition to the regular shows in the home turf.

I really don't get this thread at all.

What is your role in the band? Do you like play guitar or sing or something?

He plays the trumpet, and he fucking kills it. I saw them live this summer.

They have played in a SoFarSound thing in Chicago, Idk if that really answers your question. Also they post on their Insta where they will be playing.

Even some of the cover bands in the small town near me that barely play outside of the country/ don't book much in advance post tour dates. Posting on insta is a pretty inefficient way to do that.

Say you've actually hear of them. You want to go see them when they play in your town. You look up the tour dates and see what the closest stop is. Versus following them on insta, through a bunch of "We're in a band" style group shots on the off chance that they post on insta that they're in your town. And on the off chance you've been hopelessly following their insta and see that post, do you even have time to go, are you working? Are you in town?

Think about it. If you wanted to go see (insert your favorite band here) this fall. You would google their name, or their name + tour. Then you click on their website where it has a section labeled "shows" or "tour dates"

October 31st Gonzalez Arena Gooberfield, GA

November 2nd Pepto Theater Yoloville, KY

November 3nd Pepto Theater Yoloville, KY

November 4th SomeBank Stadium Hoodratstein, MD

Maybe they're too big for that though?

Fuck, now I'm really going to piss people off. I can't really say that I'm sorry. But I really did try to avoid being negative about anything. Whoop whoop
