fun times on crutches....

looks like its going to be a summer in the sofa.

been there man, missed the whole season and my senior year of lax. it fuckin blows but it will be over before you know, im at like 5 months now and it feels like it just happened, you'l get through.

vibes

+vibes man. Im in the same boat as you, tore my acl the first day of windells last thursday. shits no fun, keep up with the PT and get that knee strong again for next winter.

just keep your spirit up man.. thats all i can say, if youve never had knee surgery yet youll probably be pretty fuckin depressed at first but just keep doin your excercises and concentrate on gettin better and youll be back skiin by season.. good luck man!

I feel for ya bro! It seems to be all apart of the game... Don't let it be a wall but a step in an upgrade to some sweet new level of respect and character!

damn man im sorry to hear that, but if i were you id just be stoked it didnt happen in the fall and ruin youre entire season

that sucks so bad man vibes for u sir V+++ and keep up ur PT and ull b skiing next january guaranteed

Don't slack on the PT and you'll be good as new by the season! Choice is yours man, it's easy to slack off, so make it happen!

i fell off the rail in a really weird way, and my right knee twisted... :(

it looks like we are a few ppl in the same boat here! i hope that all victims for the ACL demon is getting better soon!!!

torn mine missed this entire season now im 5 weeks out of surgury and man u have to keep up on the pt it makes it alot easier

Vibes man. I'm at 16 weeks now, the time flies when you are working hard to rehab. Only 8 weeks to go. Rehab your knee for 6 weeks, get surgery, and you should be back on the slopes for the second half of the season.

God damn, it seems like every skier has torn their ACL at some point... How does it really happen? i always thought it was from twisting (bad din)

It's not from the din being set wrong. Bindings can't prevent everything from happening. If you twist in just the slightest wrong way and motion, your ACL is done, regardless of your bindings being set correctly or not. I did mine from impact more than twisting. I overshot a jump by alot doing a 7 and ended up bruising all the bones around the knee area and completely tearing my ACL. The only way to prevent knee injuries are to do alot of strengthening and preseason exercise.

sucks, I know the feeling, I think alot of people on here do, I'm gettin surgery july 15th. goodluck and I hope you have a good recovery :)

thats blows, i got the surgery for mine just under 8 weeks ago, and im getting better, i can walk and shit

i did it on a summer setup too

I tore my acl in december (actually tore it two more times after that if it's even possible) and I ain't getting surgery until this fall, I hope to at least get some spring skiing next season.
