Good God Yes! That man taught me how to make such amazing messes. My poor mother. She hates volcanoes to this day.

Was Captain Kangaroo in the 90s?

Maybe a shade before, possibly 80's, I don't think I ever saw a full episode of captain kangaroo.

However......

wow i remember that show wasnt that on comedy central? with the 3 guys in the movie theater? i never knew the name and i could never understand what the hell was going on, i guess i was a little young when it was on and didnt quite understand it. Mr Rodgers, if u go back and watch it now, its actually extremely creepy

Yeah it was called Mystery Science Theater 3000 and it needs to come back IMO, there are so many terrible movies out there that need to be made fun of.

I think the robots names' were servo and crow and the guy started off as Joel and then turned into a Mike?? Man, I remember so many laughs from that show. The observational belittling skills it taught me changed my life forever.

one thing i ill always remember was in the summer i would always wake up to the smell of coffee and then the loud voices of kathy lee and regis philbin that my mom would watch every morning, i swear i have night mares from her laugh and his insanely shreeking voice

Does it make me less masculine that I know who sailor moon is but have never heard of this gundam wing??? I think I just fell in with the wrong anime crowd haha.

that's 2x in fucking ten seconds. I started a page back, got to the end of the thread, and the Krang pic was the most recent post. I hit reply, typed krang, came back, and there were like 5 more posts, I see ashley's q, I hit reply, answer, come back, and you've answered....failure on my part.

However, I started Tang Soo Do (karate) in '90, almost entirely because of TMNT. I'm old enough to remember when BK was giving away orange vhs tapes with 2/3 turtle's episodes. And, I've been to MORE than 1 live action turtle's performances. You ever been to Dutch Wonderland in/near Lancaster?

PSA: Duckhunt/NES is not a 90's phenomenon. I mean, christ, SNES came out in '91.

I believe I have driven past dutch wonderland very recently, never been though. Surprising cause I'm like half PA dutch.

Truth, I was a wee tike when we got the NES with top gun package. And on that note, Top Gun probably spurred my love for the sport of volleyball that still exists to this day. I wanted to be iceman, and val kilmers portrayal of jim morrison later in the Doors movie later just led me to wanna be val kilmer. Salton sea, watch it.

sailor moon was wayyyy cooler than gundam and almost every other anime show ever made so i wouldn't worry bout it
