My 5000th post, what do i have to say?

indeed this is true. but you say people outside of the park dont care if you can do a 7 or have new lines and theyre rockin concepts. should it not matter in the park also? 2 people are skiing and thats what the importance is when they are at the ski hill/mtn.

Great post, I wish alot of people could read it and learn from it. Happy Birthday and props for skiing for yourself.

Soul skiers for life! haha

Hell yes Dan! I feel you man!

I've been here since 2001 too! I'm still loving skiing and doing a season in Switzerland right now. I think I'm going to be skiing a bit in Japan and Whistler in the coming years. I skied waist deep pow the other day and am very stoked on skiing right now.

please keep ns posted on your travels. i'm doing alta next year, but looking to head to japan in 2 or three years. from what i've heard already north island (hoikkaido) is where it's at.

(+) karma, sticky, i wish there were more meaningful posts like this instead of dumb hater posts and shit like that. i agree with this 100%

couldn't have said it any better... this needs a sticky so everyone can realize what true skiing is all about, you dont have to get sponsored by the time your 15, you just need to be yourself and have fun... if you have fun trying to get sponsored and thats who you are, then thats just who you are, but i think i'll stick to my 360s and 540s for now and just have fun with friends on the slopes

tht was a great post. when im skiing park all day at whistler i see everyone else throwing down like cork 7's. it sucks cuz i can only do 3's. after a while in the park i feel like a loser and im the worst skier ever. This post uplifted me. i think ill print it and hang it in my room.

nice post man. i was out of skiing almost all of last year with a torn acl and i missed it so much. i was so stoked to get back out this year and ski with my friends. skiing is just so much fun.

Superb post man. For those of you who don't know Dan, he definitely practices what he preaches. Every time I see him on the hill he's got a positive attitude (even if a gaper just cut him off causing him to retear his ACL) and it always the first to give someone props. The skiing world needs more people like Krongos. Oh, and i guarantee he's better at 450s on jumps than you.
