Hey guys. Here's my show reel from last ski season and some other events I filmed during the summer. All of this was shot on the TM700 a part from a few shots on a d7000 (I think). I have actually been filming on a 60d but decided to only use the best shots from the TM700. So check it out, let me know what you think, and give me some advice!

Pretty solid! Everyone has their own opinons about length, I though it was too long. For a "reel" your shots were held way too long and focused way too much on the content. Not trying to say it was bad, just in my opinion, a reel should be quick and each shot shouldn't be held too long. just IMO. Lots of really good content in there though, looked good.

that was awesome! i would agree with eheath, some shots were a pit too long, but it flowed really nice

i love the song btw, florence and the machine is the best!

Yeah I actually thought it was too long too, haha but it was a difficult song to cut up. Thanks for the input evan! And I'm using a igus slider.

Pretty solid, the only comment I have is on a couple skiing shots, I found the snow was a tiny bit overexposed. On a couple shots (mostly the overcast days) it just seemed like a big white mass with no contrast in it. Other than that it looked pretty good.

awesome shots man! my favorite parts were the biking shots in the woods. song was perfect as well

That was really awesome!

I felt like most of the shots from start to 1:00 were the same exact slider/tripod double angle shot over and over again; just with different features. I woulda cut a lot of that stuff out, just because there isn't much variety. I always felt that reels should also show a filmer's ability to handle a variety of tasks.
