Hey,

So these are my skis, sorry for the excessive number of pics, got trigger happy!

So do you think they've gone wrong enough that warranty will get them replaced? They haven't been used that much, realistically probably about 8 weeks worth but I'm pretty sure the top sheet isn't supposed to go like that...

stop hitting your sis together. they dont look all that bad really the topsheet stuff is cosmetics.
 
yeah those look like every other pair of chronics i've seen. unfortunately that seems normal.
 
similar thing happens on my chrons, there is really little to do about it. I would have to epoxy them like every couple of weeks. Sadly it seems like yours may be a little to far beyond a quick touch up.
 
thats just the topsheet....unless your super concerned with the top of your skis looking pretty they are fine. if there is base or side edge damage then you have problems
 
similar thing happened to mine. it kind of sucks, but seeing as it doesn't affect the performance of the ski it doesn't really matter
 
Nah yeah I know it's just cosmetic they still ride ok. But anyways before I go to a mountain again I'll have some 2010s, probably new Chronics cos I loved this years so much, hearing many people say that's normal is what I expected I was just wondering although knowing next year's will probs do it too is depressing.

my 08's peel but not that much. you should have peeled the pieces off when they started to get chipped so that this would not happen. Whenever a piece is lifting up on mine, I just peel it off so its flat.
