My $1600 "Oopsie"

a lot more money than ever previously mentioned in this thread spent on college for a kid who pretty much just skied the whole time
 
I was driving home not totally sober and fucked up the right side of my car on a standpipe. That cost $800 and was definitely not worth it.
 
not 2 sound completly stupid but is ghost riding when som1 goes on ur roof and u drive around with them on it?
 
a friend was mountain boarding and came up awkward on a gap jump and broke her back. $100,000 in medical bills, $25,000 in doctors bills. She's been back on her snowboard and climbing and living a pretty normal life for a little over a year now though
 
My sister backed into a cop car. The cop didn't care at all, so she didn't have to pay for the completely fucked up door.

The biggest "oopsie" for me as of late was falling off a chair lift and tearing my ACL/Meniscus. That was stupid, don't do that.

The other "oopsies" I can't believe I have to deal with are about $700 in underage drinking fines. I deserved the first ticket, though, I blew a .19.

Oh and the time I threw my phone in a pitcher of beer. The 2 33mms that got stolen from my house during various parties. My brand new camera that got stolen the day I bought it. (Bad, bad luck with cameras).

But I have gotten my iPod wet 2 times and its dried out every time! One I left it in my cupholder with the sunroof open and it rained, the other time some kid put it in a cup of beer.
 
Hmm lets see shattered my L3 skiing and that ended up being somewhere around 10 grand cause just my cast was 2800 then 6 months later i am almost done healing and i crashed the bmw and that was um 3470 dollars to fix so im fucked no job
 
ripped off the front bumper of my G35 by backing into a mailbox. don't ask. $800, the guy was nice and didn't charge me labor.
 
got really drunk at a party, my friends dropped me off in a parking lot where we always meet to wait for another friend to pick me up, a cop with really low profile light that looked quite similar to my friends car in my drunken state in a dark parking lot, so I walk right up to it thinking it was my friend, and get busted by the cop and blew a .13, got a drinking ticket, and am currently awaiting my mandatory court date to see how much it will cost
 
^^hahaha Oh man, That one killed me lol.

I've probably racked up over $150,000 in hospital/ambulance bills from various skiing injuries in the last four years. I'm getting kicked off my health insurance after they're finished covering the rehab from my last one. That sucks. Hopefully my bad luck streak at the ski park is oooooover.

I also backed into my co-workers car leaving work one night... I would have gotten away with it if she wasn't standing right there when I did it. It left a dent and some scratches and cost me $420. There was a dent in my truck too but I never bothered to fix it.
 
omg if that happend to me and it broke i prob would of cried.

nothing for me but my friend got his bill up to 500 $$ ... texting.
