My .02 switching from traditional mount to center

So I just got my first set of center mounted skis (08 Ar6's), and after riding skis always between core and true center (about 3 cm back from true center), I have some opinions on the true center mount.

1. Park riding is a little bit easier (obviously). Better swing weight , easier landings.

2. All mountain riding is A LOT HARDER. I found that if i'm backseat at all, i cant turn. Tails really catch. You gotta be centered or forward in your boots at all times in order to maintain control, no cheating. I guess this makes you a better skier over all since it forces you to ski forward.

Do you guys have similar opinions on center mounts?

It definitely does make you a better skier because you have to be forwards. I have never really noticed a difference in my skiing, but I cannot stand a park ski that isn't center mounted. I haven't skied a normal back mounted ski since 10th grade (Public enemies mounted +4, roughly -5 from center, and it was the worse place to mount them).

Ive shredded snowbird a ton on my center mounted anthems. Im sure it's little hard but it's all ive skied cuz i could never afford pow skis (till this year!!) but it never slowed me down at all. You'll get used to it

You aren't supposed to be in the backseat anyway. So your saying that the mounting point is affecting your poor skiing technique.

No, everyone else has been doing center mounts because they've been too lazy to be bothered looking at the little scales and marks companies use. Has nothing to do with performance of the ski at all.

So much wrong with this I'm not even sure where to start. First off, why do you think you need to ski forwards?
No one should ever mount a non-symmetrical ski in the centre. I would personally never buy another symmetrical ski anyway. If you are not skiing 100% park, why on earth would you mount a ski in the middle?

my suspects are center mounted and ive never had a problem with them even though theyre not symetrical. Salomon even put the center mount line on them.
