i would have to disagree. they still can look sick, it's just that it was really the first and only grab that skiers were doing for awhile. now that the grabs have progressed, you gotta mix it up, but a nice tweaked mute still looks sick.

why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice?
 
mutes are sick, especially if you tweak them out nicely. usually when i straight air jumps it's either a tail or a mute.

...stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

the only way that a super crossed up mute grab would be cool is if you were throwing a bio, misty, or corked 3 lead mute, otherwise a no cross mute is the way to go.

mutes are done. NOT!!! They are deffinatly still sick. It all depends on how you do it. I like it not super crossed and pretty flat (not dropping the tips down). Especially in cork 7,9.... Grabs are not temperary, all grabs will stick around. It al depends on how you do it. Some ways look sick, others look just plain stupid. Except for lu kangs. They are just gay.
