MUTE ON RAIL?

There was a really old picture of Ianick B doing one, it was actually sorta lame. It was more or less a 50-50 on a box while grabing his ski.
 
we try this trick lots, got it once, set up like a one footer then get the grab, takes ages to get if your shit like me.

There is Max Vanier that does something he calls soul grind where he crosses his skis perpendiculary while sliding its not a mute but its fuckin crazy!
 
Antoine Gagnier and a lot of those quebecois seem to be real innovative with different slides. In Assault Antoine does a mute thing on a c box. It's the Cbox at whistler... and he like 50-50's it on edge, and crosses a ski over, and gets really low. it's pretty badass.
 
i just remembered on this mountain bike dvd i have it has a skiing section like 4 mins long he does a mute grind on there aswell as some hooked out double flat spins, cant remember the name for the life of me.
 
ive done it with crossed tips... though ill admit it gets sketchy, it started with us getting bored with a backyard rail so i tryed truckers. safety and dub safety mute and a tail but i ate it on the tails , so now when ever i get board on small rails in the apr i put grabs in
 
yeh thats exatly what i thought immediatly...antoine owns that shit man...u should see some of his grabs that he has conjured up///
 
thats sick, ive seen other grabs on rails before, but never a mute. t-rains does 270's and i think 450s off with mutes and crutons in s6
 
i do em all the time on boxes

you go on as a 50 50 and cross your ski over like a soul and grab

you can lean back and press it or butter a 3 on it or w.e but they're sick and ppl give you mad props for em especially snoboarders even though they're pretty easy
 
i like it, it adds a whole new aspect, and people can choose to accept it or not, but it's there
 
i personally dont like grabs on rails but whatever i think the futere is like doing 5-0s and crooks and 270 nose sw-up tailslides and switch 5050 on cboxes and all that more sorta snowboarding\skateboarding shit
